Spiritist Enlightenment and Renewal (S.E.R) is a nonprofit organization, founded on February 27, 2007, by kindred hearts committed to the study, dissemination, and practice of the Spiritist teachings, composed of scientific, philosophical, and religious concepts, as codified by Allan Kardec. Also, having the maxim "Without charity, there is no salvation" at the core of our moral values, we continuously strive to serve this community as a source of spiritual and social support.

       Spiritism brings us knowledge that helps us better understand and live the Gospel of Jesus, inviting us to work on the inner transformation needed to reach peace and happiness. We were given such profound moral enlightenment for free; hence all our activities are also gratuitous.

        Our goal is to put the essence of the Gospel of Jesus into practice. We are, therefore, Christians but we believe that Spiritism is the Third Revelation, promised by Jesus to comfort and enlighten us.

        Our society is particularly devoted to the study of the Spiritist philosophy and its applications in everyday life.

        S.E.R. is a member of the United States Spiritist Federation (USSF); thus, we follow its guidelines alongside those established by the Federação Espírita Brasileira (FEB) - Brazilian Spiritist Federation -.
